Protocol for Kitchen Assistants
- Arrive at scheduled time
- Wash hands immediately
- Wear apron, hairnet or tight pony-tail, and gloves (if have fake or polished nails)
- Close-toed shoes must be worn – no flip flops!
- Receive instructions from Melissa or one in charge
- Before leaving, make sure serving crew is not overwhelmed with dishes
- Please wash dishes you have dirtied (plastics have to air dry for 24 hours, but you may towel dry stainless steel items
- Wash down & sweep any messes you have made
- Make sure equipment that is not being used is turned off
- Make sure refrigerator and freezer are shut properly
- Sign time sheet
