With time and growth, comes change and adjustment.  We have realized that the Donate Once a Year Campaign is a great idea, but not the most convenient!  Melissa plans her menu on what has been pledged and not everyone remembers to bring in their donation.  It’s a hassle for the donor to go to the store and then find time to drop it off.  Sometimes storage is an issue.  So the Donate Once a Year Campaign is getting a make-over. 
            Instead of donating needed items, we are asking for a monetary donation once a year.  There are 45 items on our monthly needs list, most of which are around $30.  Starting in July, you will no longer have to shop for us, just commit to donate $30 a year.  Not a month, a year!  There is no sign-up, we are trusting you to remember and God to provide.  Some will give more some less, please pray how you are to help the hungry in our community.
            Did you know that your $30 will provide 125 meals to the hungry right here in this community?   Not a lot to sacrifice to help so many! 
            We will still accept food & supply donations.   We will also continue our food rescue program.  For those of you who have already pledged a certain item for the year, would you mind changing that to a $30 donation?
