.......................................Protocol for Cleaning Soup Kitchen

Cleaning closet is found to the left of big oven. Cleaning supplies must be kept from contact with food. Please use common sense…do not clean the bathroom with same towels you clean the kitchen!!! Cleaning towels are in a Rubber maid container on the white shelf on the right of the office door.

Dust down counters and shelves to remove crumbs
Sweep: all of the floor including: under black mats, bathroom and office (shop vac is available in the office to sweep under the counter shelves)
Wipe down all equipment with bleach water. Use ice cream bucket or small bucket. Use 1capful bleach in ¾ bucket warm water. Equipment: warming oven, big oven, stove top, front of small oven, sinks x2, refrigerator, steamers
Please clean convection oven with oven cleaner found in cleaning closet, wipe out with paper towels so do not ruin so many cleaning towels.
Bleach down counters and booths
MOP: Do not bleach floors, use multi purpose cleaner. Add cleaner then wheel mop bucket to fill with water using the hose found to right of 2 basin sink.
Dump dirty water as often as need to (please do not continue to mop with yucky water…it’s not doing any good.) You may dump yucky water in the driveway outside.
BATHROOM: cleaning rags are in tote on the left bottom shelf as Please wear latex gloves for your own safety. It is at your own risk if you do not wear gloves.

Please double check that the air conditioner and all equipment is turned off. Heat needs to be down to 62 degrees.

Make sure refrigerator and freezer are closed tightly.

LOCK the door on your way out.
